イトーヨーカ堂とヨークマート、５１店で元日休業

　セブン＆アイ・ホールディングス傘下のスーパー、イトーヨーカ堂とヨークマートは５日、主に食品を扱う一部店舗で来年１月１日を休業にすると発表した。計約２４０店のうち２割強に当たる５１店が対象。両社が複数の店舗で元日休業に踏み切るのは初めて。
　５１店の内訳はイトーヨーカ堂が１６店、ヨークマートが３５店で、東京、神奈川、埼玉、千葉など関東圏で食品を販売する店舗が中心。セブン＆アイは元日休業について「従業員の働き方改革の一環」とし、「お客さまの反応を検証した上で、できれば拡大していきたい」と説明した。（2019/12/05-19:04）

51 Seven & i Group Supermarkets to Be Closed on New Year's Day

Supermarket operators Ito-Yokado Co. and York Mart Co., both units of Seven & i Holdings Co. , will not open 51 stores on Jan. 1, 2020, in a move to improve the work environment for their employees.
To be closed are more than 20 pct of some 240 stores they operate in total. It is the first time for the two retailers to close multiple stores on New Year's Day.
