山口公明代表、２１日からミャンマー訪問

　公明党の山口那津男代表は５日、東京都内で記者団に対し、２１～２６日の日程でミャンマーを訪問すると明らかにした。ミャンマー側の招待に応じたもので、滞在中、アウン・サン・スー・チー国家顧問との会談を調整している。
　山口氏は、ミャンマーが抱えるイスラム系少数民族ロヒンギャの迫害問題に関し「ミャンマーの言い分もよく聞いた上で、人道的な立場で問題を解決できるようにしたい」と述べた。（2019/12/05-15:17）

Komeito Head to Visit Myanmar Dec. 21-26

Komeito leader Natsuo Yamaguchi said Thursday he will visit Myanmar from Dec. 21 to 26.
   Yamaguchi will make the trip at the invitation of the Southeast Asian country. Komeito is the coalition partner of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party.
   Arrangements are going on to hold talks with Myanmar's de facto leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, according to Yamaguchi.
   On the persecution of the Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar, Yamaguchi told a news conference that he will work to resolve the problem in a humanitarian way after listening to the country's government.
