オミクロン３例目は日本人　国内初確認―新型コロナ

　新型コロナウイルス変異株「オミクロン株」に感染した国内３例目の３０代男性が日本人であることが７日、政府関係者への取材で分かった。国内で日本人が同株に感染していることが確認されたのは初めて。
　男性はイタリアに滞在し、１日に羽田空港に到着。検疫で陽性と判明し、その後オミクロン株が検出された。無症状という。
　国内では、アフリカ南部ナミビアから入国した同国の３０代男性外交官と、ペルーから入国した２０代男性からもオミクロン株が検出されている。（2021/12/07-15:53）

1st Japanese Omicron Case Confirmed

The third confirmed case of the omicron variant of the coronavirus in Japan is a Japanese national in his 30s, government officials said Tuesday.
   This is the first omicron case confirmed in Japan among its nationals. He is asymptomatic, the officials said.
   The man arrived at Tokyo's Haneda airport on Wednesday after staying in Italy. He tested positive for the virus upon arrival in Japan. He was later found to have the omicron variant.
   In Japan, the omicron strain has been detected in a male Namibian diplomat in his 30s who came from Namibia and a man in his 20s from Peru.
