共産と共闘、修正加え継続　４候補、改憲論議拒まず―立民代表選

　立憲民主党代表選（３０日投開票）に立候補した逢坂誠二元首相補佐官（６２）、小川淳也元総務政務官（５０）、泉健太政調会長（４７）、西村智奈美元厚生労働副大臣（５４）は２２日、日本記者クラブ主催の討論会に臨んだ。衆院選での共産党との野党共闘について、４氏とも共闘路線に間違いはなかったとして、来夏の参院選でも継続するべきだとの考えを示した。ただ、共闘の中身については修正が必要とした。
　逢坂氏は、共産党と合意した「限定的な閣外協力」について「次の選挙に向けてもう一度話し合いがスタートする」と見直しを示唆。小川氏は「何を意味するのか伝わらなかった。政策的な議論、丁寧なプロセス、国民的な理解が必須だ。見直すべき点がある」と語った。西村氏も「上から急に決まった形では、党員の理解を得るのは困難だ」と述べた。
　泉氏は「共産党との２党の共闘ではそもそもない。野党全体の協力、連携を目指してきた」と述べ、国民民主党などとも連携できる共闘の在り方を模索すべきだとの考えをにじませた。
　一方、憲法改正をめぐり４氏は、議論自体には前向きな姿勢を示した。
　逢坂氏は「静かな環境の中で行うべきだ」と主張。改憲の国民投票に関し、ＣＭ規制の在り方などを念頭に「（制度が）不備なままであれば、国民の信頼を得られる結果にならない」と訴えた。泉氏も「国会の憲法審査会で必要な議論を行っていく」とした上で、国民投票の制度改正を先行するよう求めた。
　小川氏は「現実の課題としての憲法論議は積極的に応じたい」と明言。西村氏は「憲法に関する議論はしたい」としつつも、まずは岸田政権の姿勢を見極める考えを示した。（2021/11/22-19:51）

All four candidates in the Nov. 30 leadership election of Japan's main opposition Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan said Monday that they will accept discussions on constitutional reform.
   At a debate hosted by the Japan National Press Club, the four candidates also touched on the possibility of reviewing the party's election cooperation with the Japanese Communist Party, ahead of next summer's election for the House of Councillors, the upper chamber of Japan's parliament.
   With the ruling Liberal Democratic Party requesting talks on constitutional reform, one of the candidates, Seiji Osaka, 62, former special adviser to the prime minister, said that the discussions should be held "in a quiet environment."
   Osaka said that a national referendum to amend the Constitution "would not produce results that earn the trust of the people" unless there are sufficient restrictions on related commercials.
   Junya Ogawa, 50, former parliamentary vice minister for internal affairs and communications, said that he would welcome debate on constitutional amendment "as a practical matter."
