任天堂、スイッチ減産　半導体不足「改善の兆しない」

　任天堂は４日、人気家庭用ゲーム機「ニンテンドースイッチ」の今年度販売台数をこれまでの計画より１５０万台少ない２４００万台に引き下げたと発表した。世界的な半導体不足による部品調達難で、減産に追い込まれた。オンラインで記者会見した古川俊太郎社長は、半導体不足について「改善の兆しがなく、厳しい状況が続いている」と懸念を表明した。（2021/11/04-20:38）

Nintendo Lowers Switch's Sales Target by 1.5 M. Units

Japan's Nintendo Co. said Thursday that it has lowered its sales target for the Nintendo Switch video game machines by 1.5 million units to 24 million units for fiscal 2021.
The global semiconductor shortage has made it difficult to procure parts, causing Nintendo to reduce production of the Switch series, officials said.
