首里城寄付、１２億円突破　再建国主体で使途課題に

　火災で大部分が焼失した首里城（那覇市）の再建に向け、沖縄県や市に寄せられた寄付金が１日までに計１２億円を突破した。ただ、再建は政府が国主体で行う方針を示しており、寄付金の活用方法は未定。県は使途などを議論する知事直轄組織を立ち上げたが、玉城デニー知事は「国と協議する」と述べるにとどめている。
　市は火災発生翌日の１１月１日から、ふるさと納税の仲介サイト「ふるさとチョイス」などで受け付けを開始。同３０日正午時点の寄付額は８億円を超え、県が受け付けている寄付金と合わせると約１２億３００万円となった。
　支援の輪は、沖縄を訪れる修学旅行生にも広がり、県庁には連日のように全国の中高生が寄付金贈呈に訪れている。同月２９日には埼玉県の本庄第一高校の生徒らが訪れ、同校２年の佐藤はなさん（１７）は「再建に少しでも役立ててもらえれば」と語った。
　玉城知事は、本土復帰５０周年に当たる２０２２年５月を目標に再建計画をまとめる方針で、復旧に向けたロードマップなどを策定する「首里城復興戦略チーム」も立ち上げた。ただ寄付金の使途については検討中で、定例会見でも「国との役割分担も確認しながら明確にしたい」（玉城知事）と述べるにとどめている。
　再建をめぐって、政府は火災発生直後から国主体で取り組む方針を明らかにしている。玉城知事は、２日に開かれる首里城復元に向けた関係閣僚会議に出席する予定で、寄付金の使途についても国と調整を進める考えだ。（2019/12/02-07:06）

Donations to Okinawa Prefecture and the prefectural capital of Naha to help the reconstruction of Shuri Castle surpassed 1.2 billion yen about one month after fire ravaged the UNESCO World Heritage site.
   How to use the financial contributions has yet to be decided, however, as the central government plans to take the initiative of rebuilding the historic structure.
   The southern Japan prefectural government has set up an office under the direct supervision of Governor Denny Tamaki to discuss how to make use of the support funds. Tamaki has said his government plans to hold discussions with the state.
   On Nov. 1, the day after the fire, the city government of Naha, where the castle is located, started accepting donations on Furusato Choice, a portal site for Japan's "furusato nozei" hometown donation system.
   As of noon on Saturday, the amount of donations rose over 800 million yen. Combined with public support accepted by the prefectural government, the total sum stood at about 1,203 million yen.
