中曽根元首相死去で哀悼の意　トランプ米大統領

　【ワシントン時事】トランプ米大統領は１１月３０日、声明を発表し、「中曽根康弘元首相が死去したことを知り、悲しみに堪えない」と述べた。「米国民を代表し、メラニア（夫人）と共に日本国民と遺族に心よりお悔やみ申し上げる」と表明した。
　中曽根氏の日米同盟強化に対する努力は「日米間の地球規模のパートナーシップの礎を築いた」と称賛。レーガン元大統領の言葉を引用し、中曽根氏は「友人であり、思慮深い同僚であり、太平洋地域での米国の最も重要な同盟国の指導者」だったと強調した。（2019/12/01-09:31）

U.S. President Donald Trump offered "deepest condolences" on Saturday over the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone.
   "We were saddened to learn of his passing in Tokyo on Friday," Trump said in a statement.
   "On behalf of the American people, Melania and I offer our deepest condolences to the people of Japan and to the loved ones of former Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone," he said.
   Nakasone's "efforts to strengthen the United States-Japan alliance...laid the foundation for the global partnership between the United States and Japan," Trump said.
   Quoting former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, Trump said Nakasone was "a friend, a wise colleague, and the leader of America's most important partner and ally in the Pacific."
