米合弁工場が稼働　トヨタとマツダ

　【ニューヨーク時事】トヨタ自動車は３０日、米南部アラバマ州ハンツビルに整備したマツダとの合弁工場が稼働し、トヨタの新型スポーツ用多目的車（ＳＵＶ）「カローラ　クロス」の生産を開始したと発表した。工場では両社のモデルをそれぞれ年間１５万台生産する計画。
　合弁工場は２０２２年にフル稼働に達する見通しで、従業員数は現在の２０００人超から４０００人にほぼ倍増させる。工場で生産するマツダのモデルは今後明らかにされる。（2021/10/01-06:41）

Toyota Motor Corp. said Thursday that production of its new Corolla Cross SUV has started at a plant in Huntsville, Alabama, jointly set up with Mazda Motor Corp. .
The plant will manufacture 150,000 units each of Toyota and Mazda vehicles a year.
