伊藤忠社員に懲役３年　拘束日本人、実刑９人目―中国

　【北京時事】昨年２月に中国広東省広州市で中国当局に拘束された大手商社・伊藤忠商事の４０代の日本人男性社員に対し、同市の中級人民法院（地裁）が先月１５日に国家安全危害罪で懲役３年、財産１５万元（約２３０万円）の没収を命じる判決を言い渡していたことが２６日分かった。日中関係筋によると、男性は上訴せず、実刑判決が確定した。
　中国では２０１５年以降これまでに、スパイの疑いなどで日本人１４人が拘束されたことが判明。解放された５人を除く９人が起訴されたが、今回の判決で９人全員に懲役３～１５年の実刑判決が下されたことになる。日本外務省によると、このうち７人の判決が確定し、２人が上訴している。
　伊藤忠の男性社員は、スパイ行為などを取り締まる国家安全局に拘束され、昨年６月に起訴されていた。（2019/11/26-17:06）

A male employee of Japanese trading house Itochu Corp. has been sentenced to three years' imprisonment in China, it was learned Tuesday.
   According to a source familiar with Japan-China relations, a district court in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, on Oct. 15 ruled the Japanese man in his 40s guilty of endangering the communist country's national security. He was also fined 150,000 Chinese yuan, or some 2.3 million yen.
   The ruling was finalized as he did not appeal to a higher court, the source added.
   The Itochu worker was held by Chinese national security authorities, who are chiefly hunting spies, in February last year and indicted four months later.
   Since 2015, 15 Japanese nationals including him have been detained in the country on espionage and other charges. Of them, nine were indicted and sentenced to three to 15 years in prison while five were released.
