両陛下、伊勢神宮に即位報告　伝統装束姿で馬車に―外宮で「親謁の儀」・三重

　三重県を訪問中の天皇、皇后両陛下は２２日午前、伊勢神宮（同県伊勢市）の外宮で、即位の礼や大嘗祭など一連の即位の儀式を終えたことを報告する「親謁の儀」に臨まれた。
　両陛下そろっての伊勢神宮訪問は、皇太子夫妻時代に長女愛子さまを連れて参拝した２０１４年７月以来。上皇ご夫妻も今年４月、退位を報告するため参拝している。

　天皇専用の伝統装束「黄櫨染御袍（こうろぜんのごほう）」を身に着けた天皇陛下は午前１０時半ごろ、ほろ付きの儀装馬車で外宮行在所（あんざいしょ）を出発し、衣食住の神とされる豊受大神を祭る外宮の「正宮」へ。雨が断続的に降る中、皇位の証しとされる剣と璽（じ）を持つ侍従らと共に正殿へと進み、玉串をささげて拝礼した。
　十二単（ひとえ）姿の皇后さまは陛下の参拝の後、御料車で正宮に進み、拝礼した。宮内庁によると、皇后さまは重い馬アレルギーがあり、即位パレードで使われたオープンカーの使用が検討されたが、雨天のため御料車での移動となった。（2019/11/22-20:20）

Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako reported at Ise Jingu, a Shinto shrine complex in Mie Prefecture, central Japan, on Friday that a series of ceremonies for the Emperor's enthronement has been completed.
   The Imperial couple's visit to Ise Jingu was their first since July 2014, when they worshipped as Crown Prince and Crown Princess, together with their daughter, Aiko.
   Emperor Emeritus Akihito and Empress Emerita Michiko visited the shrine complex in April to report the former Emperor's abdication at the end of that month. Emperor Naruhito assumed the throne on May 1.
   For the "Shinetsu-no-Gi" ceremony to report his enthronement to Ise Jingu, Emperor Naruhito, clad in the "Korozen-no-Goho" traditional ritual costume for the Emperor, arrived in a horse-drawn covered carriage at the Shogu shrine in the Geku area of the complex in the morning.
   After moving on to the shrine's main building with chamberlains holding the sword and the jewel from the Imperial Family's Three Sacred Treasures, the Emperor offered a "tamagushi" Shinto offering and worshipped.
