ＧＳＯＭＩＡで意見交換　早期の会談実施で一致―米韓外相

　【ソウル時事】韓国の康京和外相は２１日夜、ポンペオ米国務長官と電話会談し、日韓軍事情報包括保護協定（ＧＳＯＭＩＡ）などをめぐり意見交換した。康氏とポンペオ氏は、早期に直接会って米韓間の懸案を協議することが必要だとの認識で一致した。
　韓国外務省が発表した。２３日午前０時のＧＳＯＭＩＡ失効期限を控え、回避に向けて話し合った可能性もある。外相会談の日程は今後調整するという。
　発表によると、双方は在韓米軍駐留経費の韓国側負担についても意見を交わした。その上で、各レベルで米韓が緊密に意思疎通を図り続けていくことを確認した。（2019/11/22-01:21）

South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha and U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday night exchanged views on the soon-to-expire military information-sharing pact between Seoul and Tokyo.
   Holding talks over the phone, Kang and Pompeo also agreed on the need for them to meet soon and discuss issues between South Korea and the United States, according to the South Korean Foreign Ministry.
   They may have discussed how South Korea and Japan would possibly be able to avoid the expiration of their General Security of Military Information Agreement, or GSOMIA, sources said. The pact is set to lapse at midnight Friday (3 p.m. GMT), after Seoul decided in August not to renew it amid deteriorating South Korea-Japan relations.
   A Kang-Pompeo meeting will be arranged later, the ministry said.
   Kang and Pompeo talked also about South Korea's host-nation support for U.S. forces in the country while confirming the two governments' intentions to continue close communication at all levels, the ministry said.
