香港企業の債権差し押さえ　ゲーム配信で消費税４億円超滞納―東京国税局

　日本でインターネットのゲームアプリを配信する香港の会社が消費税約４億５０００万円を滞納したとして、同社が米アップルの日本法人に保有する債権を東京国税局が差し押さえていたことが２１日、関係者への取材で分かった。
　関係者によると、債権を差し押さえられたのは香港のゲームアプリ配信会社「フライングバードテクノロジー」。同社はアップルの日本法人「ｉＴｕｎｅｓ（アイチューンズ）」（東京）などを通じてスマートフォン用のゲームアプリを配信し、利用料の支払いを受けていた。
　海外の事業者が日本に配信するゲームや音楽などのネットサービスは消費税の課税対象だが、フライング社は納税していないことが同国税局の税務調査で判明。２０１７年１２月期の日本での売り上げは四十数億円と推計されたため、無申告加算税を含む約４億５０００万円を追徴課税した。
　しかし、同社が納付を拒否したため、同国税局は今月、同社がｉＴｕｎｅｓを通じて受け取る予定だった利用料の債権を差し押さえた。今後、この中から消費税を徴収するという。（2019/11/21-13:46）

The Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau has seized assets of a Hong Kong game app provider, alleging its failure to pay about 450 million yen in consumption taxes, informed sources said Thursday.
   The seized assets are money the Hong Kong company was to receive from a Japanese arm of U.S. technology giant Apple Inc., according to the sources.
   The Hong Kong company has provided smartphone game apps including via the Japanese unit, iTunes K.K., and collected user fees.
   Fees for online game, music and other services provided from overseas to users in Japan are subject to the country's consumption tax, which was raised to 10 pct from 8 pct last month.
   The bureau found through tax investigations that the Hong Kong company, called Flyingbird Technology, had not paid consumption taxes.
