男系男子「こだわらぬ」８割弱　自民支持層でも７割―皇位継承に関する時事世論調査

　時事通信が８～１１日に実施した１１月の世論調査で、皇位継承を男系男子に限る現在の制度について聞いたところ、「維持すべきだ」は１８．５％にとどまり、「こだわる必要はない」が７６．１％と大きく上回った。男系男子の見直しに理解を示す人が多数に上ることが示された。
　政府は安定的な皇位継承に関する検討に着手する方針で、女性・女系天皇に道を開くかどうかが焦点となっている。安倍晋三首相は自身を支持する保守層に配慮し、「女性・女系」容認に慎重。ただ、今回の調査では、自民党支持層に限っても「こだわる必要はない」が７１．９％を占め、「維持すべきだ」は２５．７％だった。
　「こだわる必要はない」と回答した人を対象に具体的にどう見直すべきか尋ねたところ、女系天皇を認めることになる「男系にこだわる必要はない」が９４．６％に上った。これに対し、女性天皇は容認するものの女系天皇は認めない「男系は維持すべきだ」は４．３％だった。
　◇恩赦、継続反対５割超
　一方、政府が天皇陛下の「即位礼正殿の儀」に合わせ１０月に実施した恩赦に関し、今後も続けることの是非を聞いたところ、「続けるべきだ」は１９．２％にとどまり、「続けるべきではない」の５５．６％を下回った。「どちらとも言えない・分からない」が２５．２％だった。
　今回の恩赦については、「評価する」の２３．２％に対して「評価しない」が４８．４％。「どちらとも言えない・分からない」は２８．４％。
　公職選挙法違反者を今回の対象に含めたことへの賛否に関しては、「賛成」１６．５％、「反対」５９．５％、「どちらとも言えない・分からない」２４．０％となった。
　調査は台風１９号の影響で実施できなかった一部地域を除く全国１８歳以上の男女１９８６人を対象に個別面接方式で実施。有効回収率は６２．５％。（2019/11/15-17:01）

A Jiji Press poll showed Friday that 76.1 pct of the public tolerate a review to Japan's current Imperial succession system allowing only male descendants in the family's paternal line to ascend the throne.
   The number far exceeded 18.5 pct who said the current system should be maintained, according to the survey, conducted for four days through Monday across Japan, excluding areas affected by Typhoon Hagibis in mid-October.
   The government plans to start discussions on how to ensure stable Imperial succession, as the membership of the Imperial Family is dwindling.
   The focus is whether to allow Imperial Family women to assume the throne and people in the family's maternal line to become an emperor.
   Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is cautious about any such change, giving consideration to the popular position of conservatives, a support base for Abe.
