大嘗祭、今夜から　首相ら招待、未明まで

　皇位継承に伴う伝統儀式の大嘗祭が１４～１５日、皇居・東御苑の大嘗宮で皇室行事として行われる。天皇陛下が新穀と酒などを神前に供え、自らも食して国家、国民の安寧と五穀豊穣（ほうじょう）などを祈られる。
　大嘗祭を前に１４日午前、「大嘗祭当日賢所大御饌（かしこどころおおみけ）供進の儀」が皇居・宮中三殿の賢所で行われた。大嘗祭の挙行を神前に報告する儀式で、天皇陛下に代わって楠本祐一掌典長が拝礼。皇霊殿と神殿でも同様の儀式が行われた。
　１４日午後６時半から「悠紀（ゆき）殿供饌（きょうせん）の儀」が行われ、天皇陛下が悠紀殿に入り、栃木県で収穫された米、アワの飯と酒などを神前に供えて拝礼し、御告文（おつげぶみ）を読んだ後、自らも飯と酒を口にする。
　引き続き、１５日午前０時半から「主基（すき）殿供饌の儀」が行われ、京都府産の新穀が供えられる。
　両儀式には皇后さま、秋篠宮ご夫妻ら皇族方が参列。安倍晋三首相ら三権の長や、各界代表など６７５人が招待されている。（2019/11/14-11:48）

The "Daijosai" grand thanksgiving ceremony to commemorate the enthronement of Japanese Emperor Naruhito, who assumed the throne on May 1, will be held in the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Thursday and Friday.
   In the ceremony, Emperor Naruhito will offer newly harvested grain to the gods in prayer for good crops and peace in the country at the "Daijokyu," a set of some 30 temporary halls built at the gardens.
   The Daijosai, a Shinto-linked ceremony held only once in an Emperor's reign, is regarded as the most important enthronement-related ceremony he performs.
   On Thursday morning, the "Daijosai-Tojitsu-Kashikodokoro-Omike-Kyoshin-no-Gi" rite to notify the gods of the upcoming Daijosai ceremony was held at the Kashikodokoro Imperial sanctuary.
   Grand Master of the Division of Rituals Yuichi Kusumoto conducted the prayer as a proxy for the Emperor. A similar ritual was later conducted at the Koreiden and Shinden sanctuaries.
