税の無駄１００２億円　３３５件、０４年度以降最少―１８年度決算報告・会計検査院

　会計検査院は８日、２０１８年度の決算検査報告書を安倍晋三首相に提出した。税金の無駄遣いなどの指摘金額は約１００２億円で、２年連続で１０００億円台となった。件数は前年度より３９件減の３３５件で、０４年度以降最少。このうち、法令違反などの「不当事項」は２５４件の計約５７億円で、件数、金額ともに減少した。
　省庁別では、経済産業省の約２０３億円が最も多く、財務省の約１５４億円、農林水産省約１４１億円などと続いた。件数の最多は厚生労働省の９１件で、農水省４５件、文部科学省３９件の順となった。
　経産省では、中小企業の資金調達の円滑化に向け、独立行政法人中小企業基盤整備機構が基金により実施する債務保証に関し、政府出資金約３７５億円のうち、約２０２億６１００万円が将来も債務保証の原資に使用される見込みがないとして、不要分の国庫返納などを求めた。
　厚労省では、賃金構造基本統計の不適切支出約３７１０万円や、「受動喫煙防止対策助成金」の過大交付約８９００万円などを指摘した。このほか、農業用ため池の災害対策工事での不適切な調査を含め、報告書では国民生活の安全確保などが主眼となった。（2019/11/08-09:09）

The Board of Audit of Japan said Friday that the amount of tax money wasted by the government in fiscal 2018 totaled 100.2 billion yen, topping the 100-billion-yen mark for two years in a row.
   The number of wasteful spending cases in the year that ended in March fell by 39 from the preceding year to 335, the lowest level since fiscal 2004, the board, which is tasked with inspecting government revenue and expenditures, said in a report, which was submitted to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on the day.
   Of the total number, 254 were related to law violations and other improper cases, with the amount of wasteful spending involved standing at some 5.7 billion yen. Both figures decreased from fiscal 2017.
   The sum of money spent improperly was the largest at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, coming to 20.3 billion yen, followed by the Ministry of Finance, at 15.4 billion yen, and the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Ministry, at 14.1 billion yen.
   The number of cases was the highest at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, at 91, followed by the agriculture ministry, at 45, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, at 39.
