「超大型ロケット砲」試射成功＝目標地域の焦土化可能－北朝鮮

　【ソウル時事】朝鮮中央通信は１日、北朝鮮の国防科学院が３１日午後、「超大型」の多連装ロケット砲の発射実験を再び行い、成功したと報じた。金正恩朝鮮労働党委員長が立ち会ったかどうかは不明。北朝鮮が３１日に日本海に向けて発射した飛翔（ひしょう）体を指すとみられる。
　同通信は、今回の発射で「連続射撃システムの安全性点検を通じ、超大型ロケット砲の戦闘性能と実戦能力の完璧さが確認された」と強調。「指定された目標区域を超強力に焦土化することが可能となった」と伝えた。
　また、「最近開発された戦術誘導兵器と共に敵の動きを抑制し、除去するための朝鮮人民軍の核心兵器になる」と表明。「最高指導者同志（正恩氏）は試験射撃について報告を受け、大きな満足を示した」と報じたが、正恩氏が現場にいたかどうかには触れなかった。
　北朝鮮は８、９月にも、超大型ロケット砲の発射実験を行った。正恩氏は９月の発射の際、「今後は連発射撃実験だけ行えば良い」と語っていた。（2019/11/01-08:17）

North Korea's state-run news agency reported Friday that the country's Academy of National Defense Science successfully conducted a firing test of a "superlarge" multiple rocket launch system the previous day.
   The Korean Central News Agency was apparently referring to the launch of two projectiles toward the Sea of Japan on Thursday afternoon. They are believed to have fallen into waters outside Japan's exclusive economic zone.
   Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, appearing from a National Security Council meeting later Thursday, told reporters that the projectiles were deemed short-range ballistic missiles.
   The KCNA report stressed that the firing test confirmed that the superlarge rocket system has perfect combat capacities, adding that it can destroy target areas with extreme power.
   The report did not mention whether North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was present at the firing test but noted that he expressed great satisfaction after being briefed on the result.
