東京都の時短営業要請、１月１１日まで　協力金１００万円追加

　東京都は１４日、今月１７日に期限を迎える飲食店などに対する営業時間の短縮要請について、来年１月１１日まで延長する方針を決めた。延長期間に要請に応じた中小事業者には一律１００万円の協力金を追加で支給する。
　小池百合子知事は、１４日夜の都対策本部会議で「事業者には心苦しい思いでいっぱいだが、徹底的な対策を講じたい」と述べた。
　都は１１月２８日から、離島を除く都内全域の酒類を提供する飲食店とカラオケ店に対し、午後１０時までの時短営業を要請。延長期間も同様の地域、時間帯を対象とした。
　小池氏はこれまで、「短期集中」と訴えて時短営業などを求めてきた。この点について、会議後の記者会見で「あらゆる対策を講じてご協力いただいてきたが、感染者が増えていることも事実だ」と語り、延長が必要との考えを示した。（2020/12/14-22:48）

The Tokyo metropolitan government decided Monday to request bars and restaurants in the Japanese capital to continue to shorten their operating hours until Jan. 11 next year, according to informed sources.
   The request, aimed at slowing the spread of the novel coronavirus, was initially set to expire Thursday.
   Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike will hold a press conference later Monday after confirming the plan at the metropolitan government's coronavirus response headquarters.
   Koike is also expected to explain the metropolitan government's plans over the central government's Go To Travel tourism promotion program.
   On Nov. 28, the metropolitan government asked restaurants and others serving alcohol and karaoke parlors in Tokyo, except those on remote islands, to close by 10 p.m.
