東芝、高精度認識のＡＩ搭載物流ロボ実用化へ

　東芝は３０日、カメラで撮影した画像から物体の範囲を高い精度で認識できる人工知能（ＡＩ）を開発したと発表した。積み重なった荷物をより正確に認識できるようになり、物流ロボットなどに応用できるという。同社は２０２１年度にこのＡＩ技術を搭載した荷下ろしのロボットを実用化し、物流現場の自動化を後押しする。（2020/11/30-07:24）

Japan's Toshiba Corp. said Monday it has developed an artificial intelligence technology for recognizing the size of an object with high accuracy that can be utilized for logistics robots.
The AI is capable of precisely recognizing piled-up objects by analyzing images of them captured by a camera, according to the electronics maker.
