再び時短要請、午後１０時まで　酒提供飲食店に２０日間―東京

　東京都は２５日、新型コロナウイルス対策本部会議を開き、酒を提供する飲食店とカラオケ店に対し、午後１０時までの営業時間短縮を再び要請することを決めた。期間は２８日から１２月１７日までの２０日間で、島しょ部は除く。要請に応じた事業者には一律４０万円の協力金を支給する。
　小池百合子知事は会議後に記者会見し、「年末の繁忙期で事業者には負担をお掛けするが、ご協力をお願いしたい」と理解を求めた。都民に対しては「できるだけ不要不急の外出は控えていただき、外出する場合は感染対策を万全にしてほしい」と呼び掛けた。
　都内の新規感染者数は１１月に入り急増し、若者だけでなく、重症化リスクの高い高齢者の感染者も増加。重症患者も徐々に増え、２５日には５４人と、緊急事態宣言の解除後最多を更新した。小池氏は「重症者数が急増している。医療崩壊をなんとしても回避しなければならない」と危機感を示した。（2020/11/25-19:39）

The Tokyo metropolitan government Wednesday decided to request restaurants and bars to close by 10 p.m. every night, in response to spreading infections in the Japanese capital.
   The request for shorter operating hours will stay in place for 20 days from Saturday. The metropolitan government will pay up to 400,000 yen to restaurants that meet the request.
   The request does not apply to restaurants on remote islands.
   In Tokyo, new coronavirus infections grew rapidly in November, spreading not only among young people but also elderly people at higher risk of serious symptoms.
   The number of severely ill patients is rising gradually, hitting 54 on Wednesday, highest since the government fully lifted its COVID-19 state of emergency in late May.
