米アップルがＪＤＩ支援確約＝菊岡社長、資金繰り「峠越した」

　経営再建中の中小型液晶大手ジャパンディスプレイ（ＪＤＩ）は２３日、複数の取引先から最大約４００億円の資金繰り支援を受けられることになったと発表した。中国の投資ファンドが９月に突如、出資見送りを表明し、再建の行方が危ぶまれたが、最大顧客の米アップルなどが取引条件緩和に応じることを確約。当面の運転資金の確保にめどを付けた形だ。
　菊岡稔社長は東京都内で記者団に対し「資金繰り（問題）は峠を越した」との認識を示した。（2019/10/23-20:22）

JDI Secures Aid from Clients, Including Apple

Japan Display Inc. said Wednesday that it has secured financial aid worth a total of up to 40 billion yen from several client companies, including U.S. technology giant Apple Inc.
The announcement came after a Chinese investment fund in September suddenly quit a consortium to bail out the struggling Japanese liquid crystal display panel maker.
