企業年金、利率０．２５％へ下げ　運用難で１９年ぶり―第一生命

　第一生命保険は２９日、企業年金保険の契約先に約束する運用利回りの予定利率を１．２５％から０．２５％へ１．０％引き下げると発表した。予定利率を引き下げるのは２００２年以来１９年ぶりとなり、２１年１０月から適用する。新型コロナウイルスの影響に伴う各国の利下げを背景に運用環境は一段と厳しさを増しており、生保各社が利率引き下げに追随すれば、多くの企業に影響が広がる可能性がある。
　第一生命が見直す対象は、公的な国民年金や厚生年金とは別に、勤務先企業が運営する年金制度のうち、将来の給付額が決まっている「確定給付型」の年金。世界的な金利低下で運用環境が悪化し、予定した利回りの確保が難しくなったため。（2020/10/29-12:00）

Dai-ichi Life to Cut Guaranteed Yields for Corporate Pension Plans

Dai-ichi Life Insurance Co. said Thursday that it will cut its guaranteed yields for defined-benefit corporate pension plans to 0.25 pct from the current 1.25 pct, marking the first such reduction since 2002.
The move by the major Japanese insurer comes against a backdrop of interest rate falls around the globe amid the coronavirus pandemic. The company will put the new rate into effect in October 2021.
