日立、営業益を上方修正　ＩＴ事業でコスト削減―２１年３月期

　日立製作所は２８日、２０２１年３月期の連結業績予想（国際会計基準）で、営業利益を前期比３９．６％減の４０００億円（従来は３７２０億円）に上方修正した。主力のＩＴ事業でコスト削減が寄与するほか、中国でのエレベーター販売が好調に推移しているため。売上高の見通しも９．４％減の７兆９４００億円（同７兆８８００億円）に引き上げた。
　一方、純利益は３０００億円（同３３５０億円）に下方修正。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大の影響で、上場子会社の日立金属が減損損失を計上したことなどが響いた。
　同時に発表した２０年９月中間連結決算は、売上高が前年同期比１０．９％減の３兆７６００億円、営業利益が３９．２％減の１８０７億円。日立金属と日立建機の業績低迷を反映した。純利益は３２．５％増の２５０７億円だった。（2020/10/28-19:21）

Hitachi Raises Operating Profit Outlook on Cost Cuts

Hitachi Ltd. has said that it expects its consolidated operating profit to hit 400 billion yen in the current fiscal year through March 2021, up from the previous estimate of 372 billion yen, thanks partly to cost cuts in its main information technology business.
Strong sales of elevators in China also contributed to the upward revision, the Japanese machinery and electronics giant said Wednesday.
