ソニー、２年ぶり最高益　巣ごもりゲームに「鬼滅」追い風―９月中間

　ソニーが２８日発表した２０２０年９月中間連結決算は、純利益が前年同期の約２倍、６９２８億円となり、上半期の最高益を２年ぶりに更新した。新型コロナウイルスの影響に伴い巣ごもり需要を取り込んだゲーム事業が好調。東宝と共同配給しているアニメ映画「劇場版『鬼滅の刃』無限列車編」の大ヒットを追い風に、２１年３月期業績予想を上方修正した。
　「鬼滅」は劇場版公開と、シリーズ作品の逐次配信の両面で収益に貢献する見込み。
　ソニーは９月に金融事業を完全子会社化したことで収益の安定性が向上した。これに伴い、不要となった税負担の引当金を取り崩し、中間純利益で２１４９億円の増益効果が発生したが、これを除いても過去最高だった。
　本業のもうけを示す営業利益も、スマートフォンなどに搭載される画像用半導体の不振をゲームソフトの販売拡大などでカバーし、７．１％増の５４６１億円と４年連続で最高を更新した。売上高は０．９％増の４兆８２４億円だった。（2020/10/28-20:53）

Sony Corp. said Wednesday that its group net profit in April-September more than doubled from a year before to 692,885 million yen, hitting a record high on a fiscal first-half basis for the first time in two years.
The rosy result came as its game business performed strongly on the back of demand from people opting to stay home amid the novel coronavirus pandemic and the company made Sony Financial Holdings Inc. a fully owned subsidiary in September.
