米ファイザー、日本で治験開始　新型コロナワクチン開発

　【ニューヨーク時事】米製薬大手ファイザーは２０日、開発中の新型コロナウイルスワクチンをめぐり、日本でも臨床試験（治験）を開始したと発表した。日本の厚生労働省は７月末、ワクチン開発に成功した場合、６０００万人分の供給を受けることで基本合意したと明らかにしている。
　日本での第１、第２段階の治験は２０～８５歳の１６０人が対象で、最終接種から１２カ月後までを評価。海外の治験データも含めて、日本で製造販売の承認を申請する予定だ。（2020/10/20-21:30）

Pfizer Starts Coronavirus Vaccine Trial in Japan

U.S. drug giant Pfizer Inc. said Tuesday that it has started a clinical trial in Japan for its novel coronavirus vaccine now being developed.
The first and second stages of the trial in Japan will cover 160 people aged between 20 and 85, with their conditions to be monitored until 12 months after the final dose of the vaccine.
