山口組ナンバー２出所＝抗争多発、警戒態勢を強化－警察当局

　国内最大勢力の指定暴力団山口組ナンバー２、高山清司若頭（７２）が１８日、恐喝罪での服役を終え、府中刑務所（東京都府中市）を出所した。２０１４年６月に収監された後、山口組が三つに分裂。抗争とみられる発砲事件が多発するなど緊張が高まる中の出所に、警察当局は警戒態勢を強化している。
　高山若頭は同日午前５時５０分ごろ車に乗り込み出所し、７時前にＪＲ品川駅に到着した。上下とも黒っぽい服装で、帽子を目深にかぶり首にはコルセットをはめ、つえを突いていた。新幹線で移動し、出身団体の弘道会がある名古屋市のＪＲ名古屋駅で下車した。

　高山若頭は、篠田建市（通称・司忍）組長（７７）の側近。服役前の強権的支配体制が分裂の要因と言われ、出所後は分裂をどう収拾するのか注目される。ある捜査関係者は「司（組長）の意見を聞いて分裂前に戻ろうとするのでは。（離脱団体の）処遇が問題になるし時間がかかるだろう」とみている。（2019/10/18-09:57）

Kiyoshi Takayama, second-in-command of Yamaguchi-gumi, the biggest yakuza crime group in Japan with some 4,400 members, was released from a prison in Tokyo on Friday, putting police on high alert amid a series of incidents following its breakup.
   After getting into a car and leaving the Fuchu prison at around 5:50 a.m. (8:50 p.m. Thursday GMT), Takayama, 72, arrived at Shinagawa Station in the Japanese capital just before 7 a.m. and got on a Shinkansen train. He got off the train at Nagoya Station in central Japan.
   Dressed in black clothing, Takayama, who pulled a hat over his eyes, wore a neck brace and used a walking stick.
   Takayama, a close aide to Kenichi Shinoda, also known as Shinobu Tsukasa, the 77-year-old leader of Yamaguchi-gumi, is from Kodo-kai, a Nagoya-based core group in the crime syndicate.
   Yamaguchi-gumi was split into three groups after Takayama was imprisoned for extortion in June 2014. As his iron-fist rule is said to be the reason behind the split, how he will handle the aftermath is drawing attention.
