大間原発、運転さらに２年延期　審査長期化で２８年度に―Ｊパワー

　電源開発（Ｊパワー）は１０日、建設中の大間原発（青森県大間町）の運転開始時期について、従来の２０２６年度から２８年度ごろに先送りする考えを明らかにした。原子力規制委員会による新規制基準への適合審査が長期化しており、安全対策工事の開始が２０年後半から２２年後半に後ずれすることが響く。延期は４回目。
　Ｊパワーの浦島彰人副社長は同日青森県庁を訪れ、柏木司副知事に「度重なる工事開始の遅延を大変心苦しく思う」と陳謝。その上で、地元経済への影響について「緩和できるように審査に関わらない周辺工事にできる範囲で取り組む」と説明した。（2020/09/10-17:58）

Oma N-Plant Launch Delayed Again

Electric Power Development Co. will postpone the launch of operations at its Oma nuclear power plant, under construction in the northeastern Japan prefecture of Aomori, from fiscal 2026 to around fiscal 2028, company officials said Thursday.
The fourth delay comes as the start of work to ensure the safety of the plant in the town of Oma will be pushed back from the second half of calendar 2020 to the second half of calendar 2022 because of a prolonged safety examination of the plant by the Nuclear Regulation Authority, the officials said.
