青森銀とみちのく銀、統合案浮上　独禁法特例１号の可能性

　青森県に本店を置く青森銀行とみちのく銀行の経営統合案が浮上していることが５日、分かった。関係者によると、両行と金融庁が協議している。実現すれば、同一県内の融資シェアが大きく高まる場合も例外的に統合を容認する独禁法特例法を適用する第１号案件となる可能性がある。
　両行の統合が実現すれば連結総資産は３月末時点の単純合算で計約５兆円となる。特例法は１１月施行の予定。（2020/09/05-16:25）

2 Banks in Aomori May Integrate Operations

A plan has emerged for two regional banks based in the northeastern Japan prefecture of Aomori to integrate their operations, it was learned on Saturday.
Aomori Bank and Michinoku Bank are discussing business integration together with the Financial Services Agency, according to informed sources.
