九州豪雨、死者６６人に　熊本６２人、不明者捜索続く

　熊本県南部を中心に大きな被害が出た豪雨は１２日、同県八代市で新たに死者１人が確認され、県内の死者は６２人となった。一連の豪雨では福岡県で２人、大分、長崎両県で各１人の死亡が確認されており、九州全体の犠牲者は６６人に達した。熊本県南部ではほかに１人が心肺停止となっており、６人が依然行方不明で、警察や消防、自衛隊などが捜索を続けた。
　熊本県内の自治体別の死者は、県南部では球磨村２３人▽人吉市１９人▽芦北町１０人▽八代市５人▽津奈木町２人▽不明１人。このほか６日からの豪雨で県北部の山鹿市で２人が死亡した。
　県内では１１日午後５時時点で、３７自治体計２１１カ所の避難所に２４３８人（世帯数は不明）が避難している。（2020/07/12-17:48）

Death Toll from Rain Disaster in Kyushu Reaches 66

The death toll from the recent torrential rains that hit the Kyushu southwestern Japan region reached 66 on Sunday, with six people still missing.
   Sixty-two people were confirmed dead in Kumamoto Prefecture, two in Fukuoka Prefecture and one each in the prefectures of Oita and Nagasaki.
   In southern Kumamoto, one person has fallen into a state of cardiopulmonary arrest.
   A total of 2,438 people were at 211 shelters set up by 37 municipalities in Kumamoto as of 5 p.m. (8 a.m. GMT) Saturday.
