熊本、避難所に２０００人超　豪雨、引き続き捜索

　熊本県南部を中心に大きな被害を出した豪雨で、熊本県の９日午後時点のまとめでは、県内で２０００人以上が避難を余儀なくされている。県南部など九州各地の被災地では、１０日も引き続き行方不明者の捜索が行われた。
　熊本県の９日午後１時時点のまとめによると、県内１８自治体に計９３カ所の避難所が開設され、２０５５人が避難している（避難世帯数は不明）。人吉市が最多の１１４３人で避難者数の半数以上を占める。ほかに多いのは球磨村の４２６人、八代市の１９７人で、この３市村で全体の８６％を占める。

　１０日朝までに確認された県南部の死者は５８人。このほか６日以降の豪雨で県北部の山鹿市で２人、福岡県で２人、大分県で１人が死亡し、九州の犠牲者は計６３人に上った。熊本県南部で１０人など、九州で計１６人が行方不明となっている。
　熊本県では１０日も激しい雨が断続的に降り大雨となる恐れがあり、気象庁は引き続き県南部などに土砂災害警戒情報を出し、厳重な警戒を呼び掛けた。（2020/07/10-11:31）

More than 2,000 people were staying at evacuation shelters in heavy rain-hit Kumamoto Prefecture in southwestern Japan, according to the prefectural government's tally as of Thursday afternoon.
   A total of 93 evacuation centers in 18 municipalities in Kumamoto were accommodating 2,055 people as of 1 p.m. (4 a.m. GMT) Thursday.
   Of the evacuees, 1,143 were in the city of Hitoyoshi, 426 in the village of Kuma, and 197 in the city of Yatsushiro.
   In the severely-hit southern part of the prefecture, 57 people have been confirmed dead as of Thursday night.
   Elsewhere in the Kyushu region, torrential rains have since Monday caused two deaths in the city of Yamaga in northern Kumamoto, two fatalities in Fukuoka Prefecture and one in Oita Prefecture.
