岐阜、長野に一時特別警報　梅雨前線で大雨、厳重警戒―死者５６人、被害拡大恐れ

　活発な梅雨前線による大雨は西日本から東日本に広がり、気象庁は８日午前６時半に岐阜県、同６時４３分に長野県のそれぞれ一部地域に大雨特別警報を発表した。同１１時４０分には警報に切り替えたが、土砂災害や河川の氾濫、低地の浸水に引き続き厳重に警戒するよう呼び掛けている。
　大雨特別警報の対象は、岐阜県が下呂市や中津川市など６市、長野県が松本市や飯田市など１４市町村だった。気象庁の中本能久予報課長は記者会見で「身の安全を確保してほしい」と話した。
　国土交通省などは８日午前７時１０分に下呂市で飛騨川が氾濫したと発表した。

　大雨特別警報は４日に熊本、鹿児島両県、６日から７日にかけて福岡、佐賀、長崎各県に一時発表されており、これで計７県となった。
　死者は熊本、福岡両県で計５６人が確認され、行方不明者は九州各県で１７人に上る。梅雨前線は１０日ごろにかけて西・東日本に停滞するとみられ、被害が拡大する恐れがある。
　下呂市では８日午前１時２５分ごろまでの１時間に７１．５ミリの非常に激しい雨が降った。岐阜、長野両県とも過去数日間で記録的な雨量になっており、下呂市では午前９時２０分までの７２時間雨量が６２９．０ミリ、長野県松本市の上高地では午前８時までの４８時間雨量が３２９．５ミリを観測。各地点の最多記録を更新した。
　８日未明は熊本、大分両県で１時間雨量が１１０～１２０ミリ以上との記録的短時間大雨情報が相次いで発表され、大分県由布市の大分川、同県日田市の筑後川が一時、氾濫した。同日午前５時２０分ごろまでの１時間には鹿児島県鹿屋市で８１．０ミリの猛烈な雨が降った。（2020/07/08-12:18）

The Japan Meteorological Agency issued special heavy rain warnings for some areas in the central Japan prefectures of Gifu and Nagano on Wednesday morning, with rainfall surging due to a seasonal rain front hanging over the country.
   Issuing the warnings for six cities in Gifu, including Gero, at 6:30 a.m. (9:30 p.m. Tuesday GMT) and for the city of Matsumoto and 13 other municipalities in Nagano at 6:43 a.m., the agency called on residents of the areas to exercise maximum caution against landslides, overflow of rivers and inundation of low-lying areas and to escape to safety immediately.
   The land ministry said that the Hida River flooded in the city of Gero at 7:10 a.m.
   Gero logged a downpour of 71.5 millimeters in the hour through 1:25 a.m., and a rainfall of 532.5 millimeters in the 48 hours through 6:40 a.m., a record for the area.
   The seasonal rain front prompted the meteorological agency to issue special heavy rain warnings for the prefectures of Kumamoto and Kagoshima in the Kyushu southwestern region on Saturday and for the prefectures of Fukuoka, Saga and Nagasaki, also in Kyushu, on Monday and Tuesday. The special warnings issued for the southwestern prefectures have all been downgraded to ordinary heavy rain warnings.
