逃亡手助けの親子、引き渡し請求　ゴーン被告事件で東京地検

　日産自動車の前会長カルロス・ゴーン被告（６６）が保釈中に無断出国し、中東レバノンに逃亡した事件で、東京地検は３日までに、逃亡を手助けしたなどとして犯人隠避などの容疑で逮捕状を取っていた元米陸軍特殊部隊員マイケル・テイラー容疑者（５９）と、息子のピーター容疑者（２７）について、米国に身柄の引き渡しを請求した。日米犯罪人引き渡し条約に基づく措置。
　地検の調べによると、ゴーン被告は保釈中の昨年末、出国審査を受けないまま、関西空港からプライベートジェット（ＰＪ）で不法出国。テイラー容疑者ら２人は米国籍のジョージ・ザイエク容疑者（６０）と共謀し、ゴーン被告を楽器箱に隠してＰＪに乗せるなどした疑いが持たれている。
　地検の仮拘禁要請を受けた米当局は５月２０日、テイラー容疑者ら２人の身柄を拘束。ピーター容疑者がロンドン経由でマサチューセッツ州ボストンからレバノンに行く航空便を予約し、米当局はボストンを出発する前に拘束したという。（2020/07/03-11:46）

Japan Asks U.S. to Extradite 2 Men over Ghosn's Escape

Tokyo prosecutors have asked U.S. authorities to extradite a former U.S. Army special forces soldier and his son, both accused of aiding indicted former Nissan Motor Co. Chairman Carlos Ghosn's escape from Japan to Lebanon.
The Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office has obtained arrest warrants for the two--Michael Taylor, 59, and his 27-year-old son, Peter--on suspicion of harboring Ghosn, 66, by helping him escape Japan for Lebanon late last year while he was on bail awaiting trial in Japan over his alleged financial misconduct.
U.S. authorities arrested the Taylors on May 20. Peter was arrested just before taking a flight he had booked for travel to Lebanon from Boston via London.
