知事の平均所得１９７５万円　６年連続増加―１９年分

　都道府県知事と政令市長の２０１９年分の所得が３０日までに、各自治体の条例に基づき公開された。時事通信の集計では、公開対象となった３９知事の平均所得額は１９７５万円。１８年に公開された４２知事の平均を１８万円上回り、６年連続で増加した。財政再建などに伴う給与削減の期間を終えたことなどが影響した。
　原則として１９年に１年間を通じて在職した知事と市長が公開対象。１９年中に就任した北海道、群馬、埼玉、福井、山梨、大阪、島根、高知各道府県知事と相模原、大阪両市長は対象外。１９年６月に市長が就任した堺市も独自の条例に基づき公開したが、集計からは除外した。
　知事で最も所得が多かったのは、神奈川の黒岩祐治知事で２７９２万円。給与が最多で、講演料などの所得も３１１万円に上った。最少は東京の小池百合子知事で１２５９万円。独自に給与を半減していることが要因だ。
　前年度との比較ができる３６知事のうち、所得が増えたのは２９人、減ったのは６人。同額は１人だった。
　１７政令市長の平均所得は１９５５万円。最も多かったのは林文子横浜市長の２６９９万円で、最少は河村たかし名古屋市長の８２６万円だった。（2020/06/30-11:11）

Japanese prefectural governors earned 19.75 million yen on average in 2019, according to a Jiji Press survey of related local government documents disclosed as of Tuesday.
   The average among 39 governors who were in office throughout the reporting year rose by 180,000 yen from the previous year's average among 42 such governors, up for the sixth straight year.
   The increase came as some prefectures ended pay cuts that had been introduced for fiscal reconstruction and other reasons.
   The latest survey excluded the governors of Hokkaido, Gunma, Saitama, Fukui, Yamanashi, Osaka, Shimane and Kochi, who got their posts in 2019.
   Of the 39 governors, the top earner was Kanagawa Governor Yuji Kuroiwa with 27.92 million yen. He received the highest salary as governor and had 3.11 million yen in additional incomes, mainly from lecture fees.
