給与総額、４カ月ぶり減　新型コロナで労働時間短く―４月

　厚生労働省が９日発表した４月の毎月勤労統計調査（速報値）によると、現金給与総額（名目賃金）は前年同月比０．６％減の２７万５０２２円で、４カ月ぶりのマイナスだった。緊急事態宣言を受けた営業自粛により、飲食や生活関連のサービス産業で勤務時間が短くなり、労働者の収入を直撃した。
　月間の労働時間は３．７％減。産業別では飲食サービスが２１．５％減、フィットネスクラブなどの生活関連サービスが１８．７％減。新型コロナウイルスの影響で残業がほぼ半減した上、正規の就業時間も２割近い減少となった。
　特にパートタイム労働者では影響が大きく、労働時間は９．９％の減少。これに伴い、パートの給与総額は３．９％減とマイナス幅が大きかった。また、解雇や雇い止めにより、労働者全体に占めるパートの比率は０．５５ポイント低下の３０．５４％となった。（2020/06/09-09:52）

Nominal wages in Japan in April fell 0.6 pct from a year before to 275,022 yen on average, down for the first time in four months, the labor ministry said in a preliminary report on Tuesday.
   Business suspensions following the novel coronavirus outbreak led to cuts in work hours particularly in the restaurant and life-related service industries, and falls in wages.
   The total work hours per person sagged 3.7 pct. Work hours plummeted 21.5 pct in the restaurant industry and 18.7 pct in the life-related service sector including fitness clubs. Overtime almost halved, in addition to a drop of nearly 20 pct in regular work hours.
   Part-timers saw their work hours decline 9.9 pct, and their nominal wages fell 3.9 pct on average.
   The proportion of part-timers in the total workforce came to 30.54 pct, down 0.55 percentage point, as some lost their jobs due to dismissal or their employment contracts not being renewed amid the virus crisis.
