三菱ＵＦＪ、店舗４割減へ　オンライン取引進む

　三菱ＵＦＪフィナンシャル・グループ（ＭＵＦＧ）は２０日の投資家向け説明会で、三菱ＵＦＪ銀行の国内店舗数を２０２３年度までに１７年度（５１５店）に比べ４割減の約３００店に削減する計画を明らかにした。スマートフォンなどを通じたオンライン取引の利用が想定以上に進んでおり、当初計画（２割減）より一段の削減が可能と判断した。
　人員についても採用抑制や退職などで約６０００人が自然減となる見通し。人員・店舗の効率化を加速し、デジタル領域や新サービスなどの重点分野に経営資源の最適配分を図る。（2020/05/20-16:26）

Mitsubishi UFJ to Cut Number of Branches by 40 Pct

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc. said Wednesday that it plans to cut its number of domestic branches by 40 pct from the fiscal 2017 level, from 515 to around 300, by fiscal 2023.
The announcement was made at an explanatory session for investors.
