新幹線、臨時列車全て運休　２４日から、コロナで利用客減―ＪＲ各社

　ＪＲ東日本など新幹線を運行するＪＲ各社は２０日、２４日以降の新幹線の臨時列車を全て運休にするとそれぞれ発表した。新型コロナウイルスの影響で全国的に外出自粛が広がり、利用客や予約が大幅に減少しているため。臨時列車は各社の運行本数全体の数％～２割を占める。
　ＪＲ東は５月１～３１日の全臨時列車の運休を既に決定。今回、４月２４～３０日についても運休を発表した。発売済みの乗車券などは手数料なしで払い戻しに応じる。
　ＪＲ西日本とＪＲ九州は６月末まで全ての臨時列車の運行を取りやめる。ＪＲ東海は５月６日まで運休し、それ以降も状況を考慮して判断する。ＪＲ北海道は５月までの臨時列車の運休を決めている。（2020/04/20-17:24）

All Extra Shinkansen Services to Be Canceled from Friday

East Japan Railway Co. , or JR East, and all other railway firms that operate Shinkansen bullet trains have decided to cancel all extra Shinkansen services from Friday amid the spread of the novel coronavirus in Japan.
The numbers of users and reservations have fallen sharply as a growing number of people refrain from going out following the epidemic. Extra Shinkansen services account for several percents to 20 pct of the total Shinkansen operations of the respective firms.
