東京で「日韓おまつり」開催＝関係最悪、今こそ交流

　文化を通じて友好を図る恒例の「日韓交流おまつり」が２８日、東京都内で開催された。日韓関係は国交正常化後最悪とも言われるが、「こういうときこそ民間交流を」と多くの人が来場。韓国の料理や伝統衣装などの文化体験、日韓両国の音楽公演を楽しんだ。２９日まで開かれる。
　開会式で南官杓駐日韓国大使は「互いの立場を尊重し、違いを理解しながら、対話を通じて（問題を）解決できるよう努力したい」と強調。来賓の赤羽一嘉国土交通相は訪日韓国人の減少に懸念を示し「韓国は日本に文化を伝えてくれた恩人の国。『おまつり』が人的交流拡大につながってほしい」と訴えた。

　会場には今回初めて、韓国の若者と来場者が語り合う「日韓交流ブース」が設けられ、大学生活や就職から日韓関係まで、多彩なテーマで意見を交わした。（2019/09/28-16:25）

Many people visited an annual Japan-South Korea cultural exchange festival in Tokyo on Saturday, enjoying South Korean cuisines, traditional costumes and music performances by groups from both countries.
   The event was held at a time when the two countries' relations are said to be at the worst state since the normalization of bilateral diplomatic ties, due to history and trade issues.
   Speaking at the opening ceremony of the two-day festival through Sunday, South Korean Ambassador to Japan Nam Gwan-pyo indicated hopes for resolving bilateral issues through dialogue by respecting each other's position and understanding the differences.
   "South Korea is a country that passed on its culture to Japan," Japanese Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Minister Kazuyoshi Akaba said at the ceremony.
   Expressing concerns over a drop in the number of South Korean visitors to Japan, Akaba said, "I hope this festival leads to an expansion in human exchanges."
