富士フイルム、アビガン増産開始　９月に７倍の３０万人分

　富士フイルムは１５日、新型コロナウイルスの治療薬として期待されている抗インフルエンザ薬「アビガン」の生産体制を拡大し、増産を始めたと発表した。生産能力を７月に現在の約２．５倍となる月産１０万人分、９月には約７倍の３０万人分に引き上げる。
　アビガンは、富士フイルムの子会社、富士フイルム富山化学（東京）が開発し、国内では新型インフルエンザ向け医薬品として承認されている。政府は今月、新型コロナ関連の緊急経済対策をまとめ、アビガンを２００万人分備蓄できるよう増産支援することを決めた。
　富士フイルムは、グループ会社の生産設備を増強するほか、原料メーカーや各生産工程の協力会社など国内外の企業と連携し、増産を推進。１０月以降の早い時期に原薬の製造設備も増強する計画で、１０万人分の生産能力を上乗せできるとみている。（2020/04/15-17:19）

Japan's Fujifilm Corp. said Wednesday that it has started to increase the production of influenza drug Avigan, which is undergoing trials for treating patients of the COVID-19 disease caused by the novel coronavirus raging across the country and elsewhere in the world.
The company hopes to be able to produce Avigan for 100,000 patients a month in July, about 2.5 times more than the current capacity, and for 300,000 patients in September, up about seven times.
