いすゞとユーグレナが次世代燃料　ミドリムシ原料、環境負荷小さく

　いすゞ自動車とバイオベンチャー企業のユーグレナは３１日、ミドリムシを原料とする次世代ディーゼル燃料が完成したと発表した。従来の軽油と同等の性能を持つが、環境への負荷が小さい点が特徴。いすゞは新たな燃料の普及を通じ、地球温暖化対策を推進する考えだ。（2020/03/31-18:05）

Isuzu Motors Ltd. and biotechnology startup Euglena Co. said Tuesday that they have developed a next-generation diesel fuel from euglena, a unicellular organism.
The fuel, which is of the same quality as conventional diesel fuel, causes less burdens on the environment, the Japanese companies said, noting that carbon dioxide emitted through the combustion of the new fuel has a less climate change impact than fossil fuels.
