国内自動車大手の中国生産、過去最悪　２月、新型コロナで停止

　自動車大手８社が３０日発表した２月の生産実績によると、中国に工場を持つ５社それぞれの現地生産台数は前年同月比７７～９７％減で、過去最悪の落ち込み幅となった。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受け、１月下旬に始まった春節（旧正月）休暇が終了した後も一定期間、工場の稼働を停止していたためだ。
　各社別の中国の生産台数は、三菱自動車が９７．０％減の２４０台、ホンダが９２．４％減の５７００台、マツダが９０．６％減の９２０台。日産自動車は８７．９％減の７７４０台、トヨタ自動車も７７．４％減の１万５３１１台といずれも大幅に減少した。（2020/03/30-17:57）

Five major Japanese automakers with plants in China suffered record year-on-year falls in their vehicle production in the country in February, as they suspended operations due to the new coronavirus outbreak, data from the firms showed Monday.
They halted plant operations in China for some time amid the coronavirus crisis, even after the nation's Lunar New Year holiday period ended in early February.
