ＩＭＦ「世界は景気後退入り」　新型コロナ、リーマン危機より深刻

　【ワシントン時事】国際通貨基金（ＩＭＦ）のゲオルギエワ専務理事は２７日、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大が経済活動に打撃を及ぼし、「世界がリセッション（景気後退）に入ったのは明白だ」と語った。２００８年のリーマン・ショックを受けた景気悪化と「同じかさらに深刻」になる可能性があると警告した。
　専務理事はテレビを通じた記者会見で、２０年は「極めて深い景気後退」に陥ると明言。ＩＭＦが集計を始めた１９８０年以降で唯一マイナス成長となった２００９年（マイナス０．１％）を超える、歴史的な落ち込みになるとの見方を示した。
　専務理事は、世界経済が２１年に持ち直すには「感染拡大の封じ込め、資金繰り問題が債務不履行に発展する事態を回避することが不可欠だ」と強調。各国に対し、家計や企業への支援、金融システム安定化につながる「的を絞った措置」を講じるよう訴えた。（2020/03/28-05:55）

The global economy is in a state of recession due to the adverse effects of the spread of the new coronavirus, International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said Friday.
   "It is now clear that we have entered a recession as bad or worse than" the one at the time of the global financial crisis triggered by the 2008 collapse of U.S. investment bank Lehman Brothers, she said at a press conference.
   The IMF expects the recession in 2020 to be "quite deep," Georgieva said.
   She suggested that the global economy will experience a historic decline that will exceed the negative growth of 0.1 pct in 2009, which was the only contraction since the IMF started recording data in 1980.
   On the other hand, Georgieva said, "We do project recovery in 2021."
