愛国心「育てる必要ある」は６９％　過去最低を記録―内閣府調査

　内閣府は２７日、「社会意識に関する世論調査」を発表した。「国を愛する気持ちをもっと育てる必要があるか」を尋ねたところ、「そう思う」が６９．４％（前年比１．９ポイント減）で、過去最低を記録した。「そう思わない」は１５．７％（同０．９ポイント増）で過去最高だった。
　内閣府は「ここ数年、社会よりも個人を重視する傾向がある」としている。国を愛する気持ちが「強い」と答えたのは５１．９％（同１．２ポイント減）で、「弱い」は８．５％（同１．１ポイント増）だった。
　また、日本が悪い方向に向かっている分野では、「国の財政」が３９．４％（同１．９ポイント増）で最も多く、「景気」が３１．５％（同５．０ポイント増）と続いた。
　良い方向に向かっている分野は「医療・福祉」が３０．３％、「治安」が２１．０％だった。調査は全国の１８歳以上の男女１万人に、個別面接方式で実施。有効回収率は５３．９％だった。（2020/03/27-20:37）

Japanese Seeing Need for Patriotic Education Hit Record Low

The share of respondents in a government survey who see the need to teach patriotic sentiment more has fallen to a record low, the Cabinet Office said Friday.
   Asked whether it is necessary to nurture feelings of loving the country more, 69.4 pct of the respondents said yes, down 1.9 percentage points from the previous year.
   On the other hand, those who do not think such education is necessary rose 0.9 point to 15.7 pct.
   "In recent years there is a trend to prioritize the individual over society," the Cabinet Office said.
   The share of respondents who said they have strong feelings of love for the country stood at 51.9 pct, down 1.2 points, while 8.5 pct, up 1.1 points, said they have weak feelings of such love.
