運転支援開発に５０００億円　トヨタとＮＴＴ、事故防止へＡＩ活用

　トヨタ自動車とＮＴＴが、車の交通事故防止のため、次世代の光通信基盤や人工知能（ＡＩ）を活用した運転支援システムの研究開発で連携することが２８日、分かった。両社で計５０００億円を投じ、２０２８年の実用化を目指す。両社が近く発表する。
　両社が構想する新たな運転支援システムでは、車載センサーなどを通じて周辺の交通環境データを収集。ＡＩが事故の予見可能性をリアルタイムに分析し、状況に応じて車を自動制御する。（2024/10/28-21:03）

Toyota, NTT to Jointly Develop Driver Assistance Tech

Toyota Motor Corp. and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. plan to collaborate on research and development for a driver assistance system that utilizes next-generation optical communication infrastructure and artificial intelligence, people familiar with the matter said Monday.
The two Japanese companies will spend 500 billion yen together on the project to develop the traffic accident prevention technology and aim to commercialize it in 2028.
