小泉選対委員長が辞任　石破首相、政権立て直し急ぐ【２４衆院選】

　石破茂首相（自民党総裁）は、衆院選から一夜明けた２８日午前、党本部で臨時役員会に出席した。公明党と合わせた与党で過半数に届かなかった結果を受けて対応を協議。政権の立て直しを急ぐ方針を確認した。大敗を受け、小泉進次郎選対委員長は首相に辞表を提出し、受理された。首相は同日午後、総裁として記者会見に臨む。
　首相は政権維持に向け、野党側に協力を呼び掛ける方針を示している。国民民主党などが念頭にあるとみられる。
　与党で過半数維持の目標を下回り、自民内では執行部の責任を問う声が上がっている。ただ、首相は退陣を否定。森山裕幹事長も続投する意向を表明している。
　林芳正官房長官は２８日午前の記者会見で「首相を支えていきたい」と強調。落選した牧原秀樹法相ら閣僚２人に関し「引き続き責務を果たしてもらいたい」と語った。両氏から辞任の申し出もないと説明した。
　一方、公明の石井啓一代表は党本部で会見し、衆院選の落選を受けた自身の進退について「国会議員でなくなれば代表を続けるのは困難が伴う」としつつも、「党再建に向けて新しい体制構築も含め党内で相談したい」と明言を避けた。公明は公示前の３２議席を維持できなかった。
　石井氏は、自民の派閥裏金事件が逆風になったと指摘。特に、非公認候補側への２０００万円支給が「非常に大きなダメージになった」と述べた。（2024/10/28-12:55）

Shinjiro Koizumi, chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party's Election Strategy Committee, on Monday offered to resign to take the blame for the LDP-led ruling camp's crushing defeat in Sunday's general election.
   The resignation was accepted by Prime Minister and LDP President Shigeru Ishiba, after the LDP-Komeito coalition lost its majority in the House of Representatives, the all-important lower chamber of the Diet, the country's parliament.
   Ishiba attended an extraordinary meeting of LDP executives at the party's headquarters Monday morning to discuss ways to rebuild his administration.
   Ishiba has indicated his intention to seek cooperation from opposition parties, apparently with the Democratic Party for the People in mind.
   After the ruling camp failed to achieve its goal of maintaining a combined Lower House majority in the election, some LDP members are calling on the party leadership team to take responsibility.
