ガザ即時停戦求め集会　支援団体が開催―東京

　パレスチナ自治区ガザでイスラエルとイスラム組織ハマスによる大規模武力衝突が始まってから７日で１年となるのを前に、現地で支援活動を行う日本のＮＰＯなどが５日、東京都内で集会を開き即時停戦を呼び掛けた。
　集会には公益社団法人「セーブ・ザ・チルドレン・ジャパン」、ＮＰＯ「日本国際ボランティアセンター」など６団体が参加。ガザの窮状について報告した。
　羊の飼育農家らを支援しているＮＰＯ「パルシック」の高橋知里さんは、イスラエル軍の空爆で羊小屋が破壊されたと証言。農家と羊は避難して無事だったが、「羊よりも自分を優先して生き延びて」と伝えているという。
　ＮＰＯ「パレスチナ子どものキャンペーン」の手島正之さんは、雨漏りがひどいテントで避難生活を送る人々の様子を動画で説明した。「ガザの現状を知り、ＳＮＳでシェアするだけでも支援の一歩だ。それが大きなうねりになれば」と訴えた。（2024/10/05-20:07）

A rally to call for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip was held in Tokyo on Saturday, ahead of the first anniversary Monday of the start of the large-scale armed conflict between Israel and militant group Hamas in the Palestinian territory.
   The rally was attended by members of six organizations, including Save the Children Japan and the Japan International Volunteer Center. They reported the current situation in Gaza.
   Chisato Takahashi of Parcic, which supports sheep farmers, reported that sheep farms were destroyed by Israeli airstrikes on Gaza while the farmers and sheep were evacuated and safe.
   Masayuki Teshima, a member of the Campaign for the Children of Palestine, showed a video of evacuees living in tents with heavy rain leaks.
   "Even just knowing the situation in Gaza and sharing it on social media will be a step for assistance. I hope that this will develop into a major movement," he said.
