ウエルシアＨＤ社長が辞任　「私生活で不適正な行為」

　ドラッグストア大手のウエルシアホールディングス（ＨＤ）は１７日、松本忠久社長（６５）が辞任したと発表した。同社によると、「私生活で不適正な行為があり、会社の信用を傷つける」と判断して１６日に辞任を勧告。本人から１７日に提出された辞任届を受理した。関係者によると、女性との不倫関係が原因という。
　松本氏は２０１９年３月に社長に就任した。２３年３月からは親会社イオンの執行役も務めていた。イオンは１７日付で松本氏を解任した。
　ウエルシアＨＤは、イオンが出資する同業のツルハホールディングスと経営統合に向けた協議を進めている。松本氏の辞任が協議に影響する可能性もある。
　ウエルシアＨＤは「本件を厳粛に受け止め、コンプライアンス体制を一層強化する」とコメントしている。（2024/04/17-10:37）

Japanese drugstore chain Welcia Holdings Co. said Wednesday that Tadahisa Matsumoto has resigned as its president.
On Tuesday, the company recommended Matsumoto, 65, step down as he was engaged in an inappropriate conduct in his personal life that would damage the company's credibility. Matsumoto submitted his resignation on Wednesday and the company accepted it.
