ダイハツ、国内全工場再開へ　大阪で「コペン」生産、５月７日から

　ダイハツ工業は１１日、認証不正に伴い操業を停止していた本社工場（大阪府池田市）の生産を来月７日に再開すると発表した。これにより、国内の完成車４工場が全て稼働する。昨年１２月に全車種の生産・出荷停止に追い込まれた同社の態勢立て直しは大きな節目を迎える。
　本社工場で生産を再開するのは軽スポーツ車「コペン」と、トヨタ自動車向けに供給している同名車種。子会社ダイハツ九州の大分工場（大分県中津市）でも来月６日から軽乗用車「タフト」の生産を再開する。認証不正が発覚する前の２０２２年度と比較して、７５％程度の生産能力が回復する見通しという。（2024/04/11-18:13）

Daihatsu to Reopen Last Remaining Plant in Japan in May

Daihatsu Motor Co. said Thursday that it would resume vehicle production at its headquarters plant in Osaka Prefecture, western Japan, on May 7.
The move will bring the Japanese automaker's all four domestic plants back into operation after the company suspended production and shipments of all models due to its safety test fraud scandal in December.
