トヨタ、ＥＶ米生産へ追加投資　南部工場に１９００億円

　【ニューヨーク時事】トヨタ自動車は６日、２０２５年から北米で初めて電気自動車（ＥＶ）の生産を始める米南部ケンタッキー州の工場に、１３億ドル（約１９００億円）を追加で投じると発表した。これにより、同工場への投資額は計１００億ドル近くになる。
　追加投資は、車載電池をパックにまとめるための施設整備などに振り向ける。電池は南部ノースカロライナ州で建設中の専用工場から調達し、スポーツ用多目的車（ＳＵＶ）の新モデルを製造する。ケンタッキー工場は、トヨタの生産拠点としては世界最大規模。（2024/02/07-06:30）

Toyota Motor Corp. said Tuesday that it will spend an additional 1.3 billion dollars at a plant in Kentucky where the Japanese automaker plans to build an all-new electric SUV.
The move will bring Toyota's total investment in the plant, one of the automaker's largest in the world, to nearly 10 billion dollars.

Switch to Japanese
