まず分配で経済回す　玉木雄一郎国民民主党代表【各党インタビュー】

　―参院選の位置付けや目標は。
　常に存亡を懸けた戦いだ。解決策を具体的に示し、実現する新たな野党像を国民に問う。１議席でも増やすのが目標だ。比例代表では５００万票獲得を目指す。
　―争点は何か。
　給料が上がる経済の実現を一番訴えたい。もう一つは国を守るということで、戦争を起こさせないための抑止力と、攻撃を受けた場合の打撃力・反撃力を整備していく。
　―他党との差別化は。
　給料が上がらない中で物価が上がり、消費が縮み景気が悪くなる可能性がある。積極財政で需要不足を補うことが大事だ。一律１０万円を給付する「インフレ手当」や消費税の時限的減税、ガソリン減税などで家計を支え、景気が腰折れしないようにすることが一番大きな違いだ。また、安全基準を満たした原発は動かすべきだし、原発のリプレース（建て替え）を公約に書いているのは他党との大きな違いだ。
　―岸田政権の評価は。
　スピード感に欠け、分配が足りない。（政策の優先順位が）成長し、その後に分配となり、（これまでの政権と）変わらなくなった。まず分配で経済を回すことを強く訴えたい。
　―政策協議を続ける与党との関係は。
　政策本位の与野党を超えた連携は、党大会で決定した方針だ。この路線で行く。おかしいところは野党として厳しく政府に言っていきたい。一方、進めるべき政策はさまざまな形で協力しながら進める姿勢は変わらない。
　―外交・安保はどうか。
　防衛費増額に反対ではないが、どういう防衛戦略や装備体系を持つのか議論すべきだ。「敵基地攻撃能力」も、どのように抑止力や反撃力を高めるかの議論がない。例えば、日本が原子力潜水艦を保有することも具体的に検討したらいい。
　―憲法９条改正についての考えは。
　（戦力不保持を定めた）９条２項はそのままで自衛権の範囲と自衛隊（の保持）を明記することと、同項も改正しなければならないということの、２案を提示している。さらに議論を深めたい。（2022/06/22-07:10）

Democratic Party for the People leader Yuichiro Tamaki has highlighted the importance of promoting wealth redistribution to get the economy moving.
   The administration of Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is "lacking a sense of speed and failing to promote wealth redistribution," Tamaki said in a recent interview held ahead of the July election for the House of Councillors, the upper chamber of the Diet, Japan's parliament.
   Asked to comment on what are major differences of his party's campaign pledges from those of other parties, Tamaki cited such support measures for households as 100,000-yen allowance to all people and cuts in the consumption and gasoline taxes.
   Warning about possible consumption contraction and an economic slump caused by inflation and sluggish wage growth, he stressed, "It's important to cover a lack of demand by aggressive fiscal spending."
   He also said the DPFP is different because the party believes that nuclear power reactors that have met safety standards should be back in operation and makes a pledge to voters that it will promote the replacement of old reactors with new ones.
