住友商とＩＩＪ、ローカル５Ｇで新会社　ケーブルＴＶに通信環境提供

　住友商事、インターネットイニシアティブ（ＩＩＪ）、地域ワイヤレスジャパン（東京）とケーブルテレビ５社は２４日、次世代通信規格「５Ｇ」の通信環境を企業や自治体などが地域限定で構築できる「ローカル５Ｇ」を活用した無線通信事業を展開するため、共同出資会社グレープ・ワン（東京）を設立したと発表した。（2019/12/24-14:15）

Sumitomo Corp. and seven other Japanese companies said Tuesday they have set up a joint venture to provide fifth-generation wireless networks to cable television operators.
The trading house has a stake of over 50 pct in the joint venture, and network service provider Internet Initiative Japan Inc. owns 20 pct of the new company.
