対ロシア・中国で緊密連携　２プラス２を早期開催―日独首脳

　岸田文雄首相は２８日、ドイツのショルツ首相と首相官邸で会談した。ロシアのウクライナ侵攻をめぐり、国際社会の毅然（きぜん）とした対応が重要との認識で一致。覇権主義的な動きを強める中国を念頭に、「自由で開かれたインド太平洋」実現に向けた緊密な協力を確認した。両政府は外務・防衛担当閣僚による安全保障協議（２プラス２）の第２回会合を早期に開催する。
　岸田氏は会談で「日本は強力な対ロ制裁を実施し、ウクライナ支援を強化していく」と表明。さらに「欧州とインド太平洋の安全保障を切り離すことはできない。力による現状変更はどこでも断じて許されない」と訴えた。ショルツ氏は対ロ制裁に関し、「ロシアに非常に痛手だ」と指摘した。
　会談では、日独の首脳と閣僚が参加する政府間協議を新たに立ち上げ、来年開催を目指すことでも合意。ウクライナ支援のため、日本国民が寄付したおむつや生理用品を、ドイツの政府専用機で輸送することも申し合わせた。（2022/04/28-23:40）

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Thursday agreed on the importance of the international community taking a resolute stance against Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.
   At their meeting at the prime minister's office, Kishida and Scholz affirmed close cooperation to realize a free and open Indo-Pacific region, apparently with China's increasingly hegemonic behavior in the East and South China seas in mind.
   The two leaders also agreed that their countries will hold a so-called two-plus-two security meeting of their foreign and defense ministers at an early date.
   "Japan will implement powerful sanctions against Russia and bolster support measures for Ukraine," Kishida told Scholz.
   "The security of the Indo-Pacific region cannot be separated from European security," Kishida said. "Any attempt to unilaterally change the status quo by force is absolutely unacceptable anywhere."
